Some things about the new record...
It was easily the most fun time I had making a record. It was the first time we had worked with a producer so that was really cool, very liberating -- we were really open to all of his input and ideas. And it was the first time we had Franz to write with too so the piano stands out more. It sounds more like a band playing together, playing songs arranged together. We always said someday we’d grab our ladies, some bottles of wine, be the Woodstock band and just go make music and, in a way, we kind of did that. It was great. I feel very fortunate to be playing with these guys. They’re all incredibly talented people. Also, we launched a YouTube style website to accompany the new record.
