Kelis just gets better and better with each album. I still really love Tasty, but I find that this album has a lot more slow jams and love tunes. That is ok with me despite the fact that I am in no mood for love tunes. The album is hip-hop based of course, but there are a few tracks that get on with the 80's trent like "Weekend" and "I Don't Thing So". "Weekend" with Will.I.Am, who produced about a third of the album is featured on the track, but really has no major vocal solos. This is a good thing. I am not a huge fan of the rap solos that tend to ruine pop songs. You are going with that groove of the track and then all of the sudden there is a dirdy rapper doing what is suppoesed to be singing in the middle of the track. It's like your parents walking in on you while you are having sex; it just kills the mood. "Bossy" is a great track, but is totally ruined by Too Short."Little Star" is a great slow jam. If features Cee-Lo and goes along more with the duet style of a song. Again, this is way better than having a solo vocal section. Much more of a better music style for a pair of great vocalists. "Living Proof" and "Apprediate Me" makes me happy. They are nice little slow jams that talks about having hope for finding love."I Don't Think So" is my fav. track on the album. It was produced by Max Martin and someone else. It is nice and 80's "Something To Remind Me" about it.Listening to these tracks now:Bossy (-) Too ShortTill The Wheels Fall OffLiving ProofGoodbyesTrilogyWeekendLittle StarI Don't Think So (+) a minute or so of more instrumentation would be great.Appreciate Me
