A fine week...

It was a great week for the GOP...More fallout from the Jack Abramoff scandal that directly links the WH, particiularly Karl Rove with the disgraced lobbyist. But the WH "doesn't recall" any communication with Abramoff...Woodward's bombshell book hits the streets explicitly revealing the WH cover-up of the Iraq war plans, failures, etc. But Condi Rice "doesn't recall" the emergency meeting she was called into on 9/10.Thirdly, two words--Mark Foley. Deplorable. Here's a DNC campaign platform--TRUTH! Demand TRUTH America!

  1. I'm a Believer says Democrat, Republican....not much difference between the two if you ask me (which you didn't lol)...we need to begin expanding our consciousness and party options I don't want to have to choose between bad and worse

  2. ThePadre says Agreed. I'd like to see a return of the Whig Party. It has been too long... Seriously, what do we do? In any other country a coup would have been an obvious option...

  3. SWozniak says We're sheep. Baaaaaah. It's amazing that "I don't recall" isn't perjury.

  4. CobyHoff says I wouldn't care how many parties we had, as long as there was one that had a chance of winning that was "For the People" and not "For the Corporations." They all follow money.

  5. ThePadre says If you haven't seen the movie The Corporation, you must. I uspet myself often thinking about the chain of misery touched off by corporate control in this country. They control our lives from the top down--salary, insurance, 401K down the chain to the $6.50/hour worker who is bitter at the world for earning a poverty wage that earns only enough money to eat the $.99 value meal at a fast food joint that leads to obesity, that leads to the need for overpriced healthcare and a prescrption for overpriced medication sold by a powerful drug interest. I could go on...! I can only do my best to get off the grid that feeds these bastards. I started by quitting the corporate nipple job that ruled my co-workers by fear. We shouldn't have to be bound to a job because we fear for insurance that our govt. (the govt. of the wealthiest nation in the world by the way) should be providing for us. And as for 401K, I don't have faith that it will be there when I retire. Oh boy, I am fired up now...
