I can't stop listening to this album (The MOG meter doesn't count the CD plays in the car or they'd easily lead my TOP ARTIST and TOP ALBUM widget doodad things). Apparently these guys are still under the radar. Must be because Wolfmother is getting all the hype. In the realm of old-school-type rock these guys do it better IMHO. Hopefully a "rising tide will raise all boats" effect will occur
I just picked up Greg Graffin's solo album. Most of you might now Mr. Graffin as the singer for Bad Religion. His solo folk album might seem to be a 180 from Bad Religion but when I hear the earnestness and think on the subject matter they all seem congruous to me.
This week I bought the Wolfmother album and the new one by The Sounds, "Dying to Say This To You." And I was surprised to find that I enjoy the Sounds CD more than Wolfmother. And I love the Wolfmother disc.
