I can't stop listening to this album (The MOG meter doesn't count the CD plays in the car or they'd easily lead my TOP ARTIST and TOP ALBUM widget doodad things).
Apparently these guys are still under the radar. Must be because Wolfmother is getting all the hype. In the realm of old-school-type rock these guys do it better IMHO. Hopefully a "rising tide will raise all boats" effect will occur and introduce these guys to a larger audience.
I just picked up Greg Graffin's solo album. Most of you might now Mr. Graffin as the singer for Bad Religion. His solo folk album might seem to be a 180 from Bad Religion but when I hear the earnestness and think on the subject matter they all seem congruous to me.
Among the many versions that Frank saw fit to release this is by far my favorite. The monster tone and performance just do it for me.

Always a great song, but admittedly I don't have that album. I'm kinda partial to The Jimmy Swaggart version of Torture never Stops, which I think is on Best band you Never Heard in Your Life (Disc 2, if memory serves). Think IM gonna hafta scare up YCDTOSA #1 now... thanks for the tip!

Yeah, that album is wicked. I'm so glad that I use MOG, or else I would have lived my life Priestess deprived. I'm so glad that there are current rock bands that kick so much ass, because I was starting to think that rock was either dead, or hibernating.

totally with you.
yep - the MOG Priestess crew is growing - ROCK ON! Fave Priestess songs??? Mine changes all the time, which is kind of cool. For a while it was Lay Down, then it was Time Will Cut You Down, now it is Talk to Her.
