Oh my beautiful friends, what joy have I to share with you! I have a deep love for the music and artistry of Peter Gabriel as I have waxed on in previous posts. Also I love the sonic delights of the Afro-Celt Soundsystem (on Real World, Peter's own label). They create amazing textures and beautiful rhythms that one can not resist the urge to move to. So these two fantastic creative forces have collaborated and given us this wondrous gem. I love this song. Lyrically, musically, as an extremely dancable song. Now I find this visual treat to go with it. I was held in rapture the duration of this piece.

How often in life I wonder do we feel like this man. That we just keep falling endlessly, this mad world constantly flying by us at breakneck speeds. We can barely take in a moment these days. I love this piece's ability to convey that sense of urgency and put it in an interesting perspective. I wonder if the dress of the falling man was conscious? This video opened up a new perspective on this song for me. I always love it when a video is able to do this. New angles being paramount in my humble opinion.
