In my opinion, Live's best album was Throwing Copper. Not to say their other albums weren't also fantastic, which they mostly are. The combo of lyrics and music just blend so perfectly in this song, and it's the only song by them I can listen to over and over on repeat. Definetly one you should check out, and Throwing Copper is an album that must be added to your collection :)
The song Ashes is a great song, a beautiful dark metal ballad in it's original form, easily listenable by clicking the little music beacon or searching for it, but what Mog doesn't have and doesn't recognise is the Live version. When-ever I play the song, it lists it as the original from The Perfect Element album. So here is the Live version of the song from their 12:5 which is a beautiful song. The album 12:5 takes several songs from several of their albums and mixes it together in a Live story using various unrelated songs and somehow making them fit perfectly together. 12:5 is only eclipsed, in my opinion, by the album BE which is a true masterpiece of story telling. Ashes is great, and the video for the original version is quite stellar as well. Enjoy!
I figured my first post should be about my current favourite track. Dead King by Espers is quite lovelly and easy to listen to. From their second album, and in my opinion, their best. I have sent this song all over addicting many people to the wonderful music.
