Cpunks,Ever wonder where Bon Scott and AC/DC got their inspiration from? Well there's a little known Aussie band that was born and bred from the same pub circuit as the Rock and Roll legends - they are ROSE TATTOO. Apparently they were incredible to see live, very energetic and very, well, Bon Scott like. They've had a colorful "history":http://www.geocities.com/pgormley.geo/remedy/history_frame_set.html which has led to many different versions of this band. This is one of those albums that you cherish in your collection, and show off to friends when you remember it! I've had it for years and "discovered" it again this afternoon. Good Aussie Pub Rock and Roll.Enjoy Moggers!Tak

hahaha! WHOA-ly shit! That's craaaaaaaaaaaaaazy! (and that bald guy's voice totally doesn't fit his body habitus!! hahahah! SO funny!)
I have to hear more now, of course. The similarity is uncanny.
ACDC is bluesier though (which I dig). Bluesier than the song you posted anyways.
The throaty singing style is slaying me!

I'm convinced that the lead singer "Angry Anderson" was way to advanced for the late seventies, early eighties. He didn't have the hair or the stature of the traditional rock and roll star. Know what you mean about the bluesier side to AC/DC. Hard to emulate Angus!

They didn't get the recognition they deserved! But, it looks like they did tour with Guns and Roses in '93 and they were an big hit in Europe a few years back - still, these guys really shaped rock by influencing AC/DC and they get no play.
