Ok, this is my first post on MOG. I have to admit that it is a great place to find great new music. Lately I have been getting into the old classic rock faze of things. I guess I’m just kinda sick of all this techno indie pop crap. I can understand why people enjoy stuff like Animal Collective, or Sufjan Stevens. I like it from time to time myself but it just gets old. In my opinion I think indie rock is the best thing for the music industry because it constantly keeps music fresh and alive. Isn’t that what music is all about. Never the less, I don’t think anything can beat the shear quality of what came out of the 60's and 70's. Sometimes a rocking guitar and simple but powerful words beat out most of what’s made today.
