are often made in vain. I'm leaving early tomorrow morning out of LA to fly to my folks' for Christmas, in bfe New Mexico (right on the Texas border). turns out grandma is really sick, so the hubby and I decided I should make a bonzaii trip home to be with grandma for the holiday (especially since it's the first holiday without grandpa). I'll really only be there for Monday, as I fly out tomorrow and return on Tuesday.So here I am, sitting in my pajamas, updating my ipod, looking at my empty suitcase, and knowing I have to leave for work in an hour. I guess I should do something productive.At least Santa (aka Sam) brought some exciting presents to our house early-- including Little Miss Sunshine, and some feminist literature for my dissertation reading.Happy times!
