It may have took me an eternity to get around to adding The Subways 2005 debut album to my collection, but I have to say on first listen I'm pleasantly suprised. "Young For Eternity" is an incredibly mature and varied collection of songs for a band so young. The Subways wear their influences on their sleeve whilst still managing to craft a sound unique enough to call their own. Lyrically there's a lot of room for improvement but I'm sure that will improve in time. I won't leave it as long before picking up their next release.
