A Cream Reunion?

Posted over 4 years ago
Jack Bruce said that himself, Eric Clapton, and Ginger Baker have designs to reunite the rock band Cream, according to Yahoo. No specific details were given, but Bruce explained that it would not be the seven-continent Live Earth shows on July 7: "It's a bit later than that."Cream were originally based out of London and were active only two years (1966-1968) with two reunions in 1993 and 2005. The band's turbulent brief history has been attributed to "clashing egos and divergent musical visions."Although their studio work has stood the test of time, the band has maintained significance with their live shows. The incorporation of their jazz background into their long 20 minute jams influencing bands like Led Zeppelin, the Jeff Beck Group and the Allman Brothers Band. The 2005 reunion shows were about a year Bruce received a life saving liver transplant. He hopes another Cream reunion would be less physically and mentally stressful. He said: "I hadn't recovered properly yet, so I found it quite difficult. Now I'm completely recovered so I would enjoy it more."[YA]http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070524/ap_en_mu/music_cream_reunion;_ylt=AkM1mhNEMWxqxuEMmaQHz_eVEhkF??Cream, left to right: Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce, and Eric Clapton??"Yahoo News!":YA

  4. Kinoshawk says Great news, but I don't see how this could last for very long. Ginger Baker gets snippy after being in the same room with Jack Bruce for extended periods of time.
