Dr. Dog are currently on tour in the eastern US and will appear on Letterman, May 23. The band is supporting their February release, ??We All Belong?? (Park The Van). Critics have given the the band critical praise, while some scoff that it's just another 60's throw back. ("Judge for yourself, 'Worst Trip' and 'My Old Ways' from ??We All Belong Here??":CH)
The band's name 'Dr. Dog' could be confused for a gangsta rapper, but upon closer examination we find it's the pride of Philadelphia's psychedelic rock scene. The band's summer touring schedule is a modest one, compared to last year. The band was all over the place, touring with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah(Europe and US), The Strokes, The Raconteurs, and The Black Keys.
