Christian Death & Fangoria 25 years old

CD1334, a project featuring members of Los Angeles proto death metal band Christian Death, will play the Fangoria Weekend Of Horrors on May 18. The event will be held at the Burbank Airport Marriott Hotel in what is reported to be an all-ages event. A bar will be open for the 21 and over crowd among other accommodations that will be available for creeps of all ages, according to event organizers.Fangoria is an internationally distributed US film fan magazine specializing in the genres of horror, slasher, splatter and exploitation films. It was first published in 1979.This year is also the 25th anniversary of Christian Death's breakthrough album "Only Theatre of Pain" (Frontier). Original members George Belanger, James McGearty and Rikk Agnew wanted to do something special for the occasion. The band's founding member and singer Rozz Williams had passed nearly 10 years ago, the band enlisted his ex-wife to take the lead spot.CD1334 will perform "Only Theatre of Pain" in its entirety as well as songs from "Hell Comes To Your House" and the "Deathwish" EP and a new song titled "Rites".http://www.fangoria.com/
