Beach Boy's Lawsuit Dismissed

Posted over 2 years ago
The Beach Boys claims that Roy Sciacca and Allen Gaba had stolen memorabilia from their North Hollywood warehouse in 1994 have been thrown out. Gaba, owner of the warehouse and memorabilia collector Sciacca, were both cleared of a ??$60 million?? dollar lawsuit. The lawsuit was dismissed by a federal judge citing 'lack of evidence'.Sciacca contacted a London auction house in 2005 to sell a lot of Beach Boy memorabilia. In October of that year, 'Cooper Owen' is said to have put the auction on halt, after the items were reported stolen.Tuesday, Sciacca's lawyer maintained that the items were lawfully purchased in the 1980s at a 'warehouse sale'. The other defendant, Allen Gaba, who represented himself was not available for comment as of today. Lawyers for Brother Records, the plaintiff in the case were unavailable for comment.
