Danzig: The Lost Tracks

Posted over 2 years ago
Ghoul-rocker extraordinaire Glenn Danzig has announced the release of a new album of assorted tracks that didn't make the cut on his albums. The 26 song two disk release, "The Lost Tracks of Danzig"(Evilive) will be available May 29.Spanning over 20 years, The track listing reflects upon a lifetime in "Horror Business". Some of the more notable tracks include an acoustic version of "Come to Silver," a song that Glenn originally wrote for Johnny Cash (who reportedly loved it), T-Rex's "Buick McKane", David Bowie's "Cat People", and "Caught In My Eye" by The Germs."Whenever I've made a new album, I've recorded more songs than wereneeded for the final CD," said Glenn Danzig. "The songs that make it onto the final album 'fit' or 'flow' together as a whole. Consequently, sometremendous Danzig songs have never been released, not because theyweren't great, but because they didn't fit the overall vibe of the particularalbum,or for other reasons."
