WHERE THE HOKEY POKEY "IS" WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

V.V.

Recently, I've been listening a lot to Vladimir Vysotsky. He was a Russian musician, actor, and poet. His style was typcial of that of Russian Bards, although he considered himself to be more of post modern artist. He has often been billed as the "Russian Elvis".If your into darker sounding, gutteral folk music, in a colored, down tune then check his work out.He also has an extensive filmography, but none of which I've ever seen.

  1. Kate says Anyone billed as "the Russian Bob Dylan" is immediately intriguing in my book. I tried to find a place to listen to his stuff, but not being able to read Russian is hindering my efforts :)
