Hey gang,
This Summer's been an interesting one! I've been on a long and treacherous journey filled with convicts, Cossacks, highwaymen of all sorts, gunfighters, Indian healers, Bulgarian mental patients, Estonian sorceresses, Moldovan muraders, Portuguese BMX riders, Lithuanian office managers, and I think there was a Norwegian black metaler or two.
Nonetheless, I've obtained a fresh perspective and things are going pretty damn well for yours truly.... it's really just myself I'm trying to kid, I'm still on the outside looking in.
I've digressed, big time.
So I dip out for a month or so and come back to see all this activity on the MOS! But it wasn't quite what it seems. It' was a little frustrating at first to navigate around and find all of your posts, but lots of things in life are frustrating. Who was it that said "life is difficult?" Shell Silversten? Well, he was right. I was put off at first, but then I put it into prespective.
it's cool to see MOG evolve into something more encompassing. Truth be told folks, we're just a tad bit cliquey. In my life, I've always sought out folks differnt from myself. Even though I seem to constantly find myself saying "what the hell am I doing here with these people," I'll pick something up along the way that I wouldn't have found being in my comfort zone. If we're 1/2 as interested in being exposed to new stuff as most of us claim we are, then this is a good thing.
That's my two cigarette butts.
