TV On The Radio Announce Fall Tour

The five piece indie rock group from New York City TV On The Radio has announced a Fall tour which will span most of North America and include a spot at the Treasure Island festival in San Francisco on September 20.
TVOTR released an EP entitled Live at Amoeba Music featured live tracks recorded during an in-store performance at Los Angeles music store at Amoeba Music on September 22, 2006. The group's last full length Return to Cookie Mountain (Interscope) was released in September 2006.

to all of you who 'aren't sure'...they have an incredible live show. SO much energy. tunde adebimpe is amazing...and he can't keep his left arm down :)
Saw them at Download Fest back in '06 & they put on a great show live. Sounded really excellent, although not all that interesting to watch since they were pretty static on stage.
This is excellent news - for those on the West Coast. TVOTR are one of the last innovative bands I have yet to see live. I could have seen a FREE show of theirs a few years ago at Prospect Park - M. Ward, Voxtrot and our friendly headliners. I actually missed their set when they opened for Cafe Tecuva at Bowery.

Saw them last year. Amazing show. Especially with the Noisettes opening.
