'Lost' Jimi Hendrix Album Discovered
-
Artist:
A lost album Jimi Hendrix recorded with rocker Stephen Stills has been discovered more than 30 years after it was recorded, reports the Las Vegas Sun.
Stills recently found the recording among a stack of material he taped during the 1970s. It's reported his Crosby, Stills and Nash bandmate Graham Nash is helping him prepare it for release.

Nash tells the Las Vegas Sun, "He has an enormous history of recording. In the '70s, he was a recording fool. He just found a bloody album he made with (Jimi) Hendrix.
"'Oh yeah, I forgot that.' We've got to listen to that... I want to listen to every track he ever recorded in case he recorded with Al Jolson."
No details or dates for the release of the 'lost album' have been explained, but we'll keep you posted!

lol @ "Oh Yeah, I forgot that"...,understatement of the year.
I'd never want to give him anything important to hold on to.
"Oh right...the ancient biblical scrolls in my basement....COMPLETELY slipped my mind"
Frost, too true, too true haha Leave it to a musician to do that. Can you say 'airhead'?
Unreal. Crazy find, if it's true...
those rockers are nuts...def. understatement of the year.
I just hope it doesn't get overdubbed, processed, and "updated".
That would truly be a shame, Deadmanx2
Can't wait for the release. Hendrix played a solo on Still's first solo LP, but for once I preferred Clapton's solo on a different better song on the LP. Supposedly CSN&Y all regret taking drugs; drugs may account for his spotty memory.
"Rocker" Steven Stills? So that would be different from the guy in CSNY, right?
Love to hear that.
I fear the same thing that deadman does. RobP's comment cracks me up.
sweet!
Can't wait to hear this!
Yes. Yes. Yes.
I have a recording of Stills and Hendrix playing together in Stills basement in the early seventies-i wonder if it is the same. I have posted a couple of songs from it before.
that tape will need some serious baking
Hiya Sturgell!
