Sigur Ros Hits The States

Posted over 3 years ago

If you haven't figured it out yet, Sigur Ros are the bigest things to come from Iceland since Bjork, screatch that, Leif Ericson! With the release of new LP Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust imminent(I don't know what that means either) June 23 from EMI in the UK and June 24 on XL in North America. Recently, they performed at the Orpheum Theather in Omaha, Nebraska and some prety damn cool photots of said event have surfaced online.

Dang! Had I known when they were going to be in Kansas City, MO, I could have planned a road trip. Guess I'll have to wait for the Chicago gig. Why no stop in Minneapolis? Like we're not Nordic enough or something??? ;-)
