M.I.A. Pledges To Build School In Liberia

British singer, visual artist and now humanitarian, M.I.A. announced she will use a recent performing fee to build schools in Liberia.Last Sunday (June 1) at the after-party for the MTV Awards in Los Angeles on when she reportedly climbed on top of a photo booth and told the audience she was using her $100k fee for a good cause."I'm going to use it to build schools in Liberia” she said "It costs $52,000 to build a school for 1,000."
