  7. Anna says If we start to judge her based on her voice and tunes instead of her personal life and mistakes, maybe we won't think it's that weird. Unless someone here enjoys being put under a microscope, having to share his/her drunken nights with strangers and judged on his/her mistakes. Are Razorlight better for this? Don't make me laugh.

  8. Scribes4life says I don't know if people are necessarily "judging" her, in this post. It's comical that someone who has such an unruly lifestyle is performing for a premier dignitary. She does have an outstanding voice, and anyone “judging” might actually be concerned (albeit selfishly) that her flame will be extinguished too soon. That said, I think her current position in the public eye is based on the increasing amount of media coverage in the world. Janis and Jimi and Jim and Kurt and Bradley all died before the public was ready to let go. just sayin

  9. Anna says Well, it kinda threw me for a loop that people focused on this. Being a musical fan myself, I find it more comical that Razorlight, one of the most generic and boring contemporary bands, are going to perform in an event to honour of a man with such innovative vision. And if I may add, most people {I'm not talking about MOGgers here now} judge & enjoy judging because it makes them feel better about themselves or because they don't have anything else to be concerned with. Nothing good can come off judging, so I don't attribute pure intentions to it. And for the record, I do see where you're coming from and I didn't mean to tell anybody off, I just spoke my humble opinion.

  10. Devon Kay says I see where all of you are coming from on all angles and honestly it still seems a little off to put put someone who is actually notorious for missing her shows on such a great event I mean hell who knows if she will even show up but the music I guess is the most important aspect to look at and yes she is good, not incredible but still good We will never know I suppose well we will. . . soon but whatever

  11. Scotch says I just hope that Ms. Winehouse doesn't show up completely polluted, just to show the man the respect he deserves. This celebration is about Mr. Mandela, not her.
