"AS PREVIOUSLY REPORTED":PR Dr. Pepper is saying that they will give everyone in America a can of Dr. Pepper if Axl Rose actually releases ??Chinese Democracy?? in 2008."It took a little patience to perfect Dr Pepper's special mix of 23 ingredients, which our fans have come to know and love," said Jaxie Alt, director of marketing for Dr Pepper. "So we completely understand and empathize with Axl's quest for perfection — for something more than the average album. We know once it's released, people will refer to it as "Dr Pepper for the ears" because it will be such a refreshing blend of rich, bold sounds — an instant classic."
??Chinese Democracy??, the group's 17-year-in-the-making belabored masterpiece would be the group's first album of new material since 1991's simultaneously released ??Use Your Illusion I & II??According to a March 2005 New York Times article, production costs for the album have reached $13 million, making it probably the most expensive recording never to be released. Then-Guns N' Roses manager, Merck Mercuriadis, however, refuted the article in a letter and claimed that the newspaper's sources had not been involved with the project for "six to nine years".
??Axl Rose with a kangaroo??Commented Axl Rose in a statement: "We are surprised and very happy to have the support of Dr. Pepper with our album, 'Chinese Democracy', as for us this came totally out of the blue. If there is any involvement with this promotion by our record company or others, we are unaware of such at this time. And as some of Buckethead's performances are on our album, I'll share my Dr Pepper with him."To Show your support for the Axl:"CLICK HERE":CH[CH]http://www.chinesedemocracywhen.blogspot.com/[PR]http://mog.com/tjayfowler/blog_post/152179
