  1. Cody B says I'm suprised they couldn't pull off a radiohead or trent type thing..Seems like everybody will have this record by the end of April..

  2. Sturgell says WELL. They have been out of it for a long time. Remember when they first released their self titled? You could throw a rock with hitting 3 copies of that damn CD. It was great, but man did it get a lot of play. There is a bar/restaurant in Minneapolis called Azia (pronounced Asia) that plays that damn CD everyday. You'd be surprised! Overpriced food and drinks in a dark room with candles everywhere goes with really well with Portishead.

  3. Cody B says Oh, I heard that,S-Gell..Dummy, Massive Attack,Enigma,Gypsy Kings..some bars only have these records..and that's cause they just got tired of US3 last week. This record will blow out candles..it has some rawk moments and noise, which may not appeal to the passive Starbucks or Lounge set.. Hey, I hope I'm wrong, I dig these cats.

  4. NeilNathan says i'm all for bands exploring their sound, but i must admit i do wish i could count on endless sexy, moody, rhythmic, sorrowful vibes from this band sadly that is not the case and this is a good example

  6. Augusts1 says Omg, I LOVE this song! It's so wonderfully stark & bleak, pushing the boundaries of the trip hop genre into an industrial sound. So cool they decided to go in a new direction. The vid leaves much to be desired though, heh.

  7. BelovedListener says I like it... kind of. I was a big fan for the first minute or so, but after a while it sort of started to get to me. I'll have to see what else they have to offer before I invest. ^_^ But thanks for the post! It'll give me something to look into later.
