  2. christheskins says She's weird and wonderful...now i'm thinking an ally to Kate Bush...something about this has hooked me...just saw her as a "talking head" in the Scott Walker doc'... I've never quite got around to getting anything by her up to now...but the last set had a lot going for it.. T-Rex retro meets Electronica...and i LIKE your "Folktronica" tag ,that this has surely inspired... "A&E"? records? ..nah... Alison and Edward?.. "All & Evermore"?

  3. Vtshome says Nice, sounds kind of like a Sarah Brightman thing going on. Besides I'm partial to leaf people.

  4. Augusts1 says I bought my ticket for Coachella at the end of Jan. long before I knew Goldfrapp was going to be there since Portishead is performing. But finding out Alison & crew will be there is major icing on the cake! Can't wait to see her live.

  5. levek says Nice song but I think the video would have been much better without the leaf dancers and the guitar strumming camper - superfluous.

  7. levek says Who's ever heard of a tree doing the "I Can't Dance.." + Indian Rain Dance move? I like my girls and salad separately...

  8. scotfree says well, you have me at a disadvantage as I was ever a big fan of the classic "Lost In Space"...

  9. levek says Well, it is I who is lost here...I never followed "Lost in Space" or saw the movie. Anyway, Alison was great but IMHO the dancing greenery was not.

  10. scotfree says Sorry for the obscure reference. The old "Lost In Space" was infamous for cheap special effects like walking trees

  11. Scotch says re: whipper-snappers - I wonder if Ray (RGM) was just being ironic, or did he not know that Alison is in her 40s? Either way, I chuckled a bit.
