A group of "young people" in Darlington, UK is hoping to solve the mystery of who stole Jimi Hendrix's guitar during a gig in the '60s.Hendrix's guitar was stolen straight after the gig at the Imperial Hotel, Darlington, on February 2, 1967, and it is thought it is still in the town.Now a council youth service project called My Generation, which is looking at music in Darlington since the 1950s, is hoping to find out what happened to the instrument.Members of the group are hoping to make a documentary and are eager to hear from anyone who has anecdotes or memorabilia.
