Amy Winehouse was arrested today (Dec. 18) on suspicion of attempting to interfere with a court case involving her husband.Police would not confirm the report but said a 24-year-old was arrested during an appointment at a police station in connection with an investigation into perverting the course of justice.Winehouse, 24, recently canceled all concerts and public appearances for the rest of the year on doctor's orders.     Sturgell says jeej- it's hard not to feel sorry for her... dachmo- a good "smack" would be a swift kick in her behind to get her to get her shit together. Flux- there isn't enough puke in the world to fill that order. Brettney- Good eye! I see the egg! Fistula- The suicide pact story is a load. I seriously doubt they'd go through with it, even if it was true

    Scotch says I just can't understand why people love to see others, especially the famous spin out of control. Why is human suffering an enjoyable side-show for so many? If Amy was going around around hurting anyone but herself, I wouldn't mind seeing her fall, but she's not. I just can't judge her harshly, but I do pity her. I hope for her sake, and the music world's, she gets it together and lives to be an old woman. In a world full of fans, it seems she has few people really pulling for her, and fewer friends.

    Renaissance Woman says dear lord (re the video). dear god (re the comments). flux, i think you had it right the first time. christ's sake. her boyfriend got in a bar brawl. that about right? the plaintiff knew that the dude's girlfriend was winehouse and filed suit. perhaps she tried to use her influence as the superstar whose wealth and fame (or infamy) are being exploited. or some other twist upon a truth. that about right? and spears? nothing to do with trailer trash, dear. just a story. and a typical one at that. teen pregnancy. gee, that's a new one. girl has sex. girl pays consequences. the "impregnator" is from church...everyone knows that churchgoing people don't have sex! what a scandal! superstar's skivvies are seen. you'd see mine too if i was trying desperately to escape the paparazzi by going from the front seat to the back of my car. who cares? you guys are puritanical piranhas. i feel sorry for anyone in the public eye. i don't find it entertaining even in a morbidly fascinating kind of way. these people can't get coffee or walk a dog, pick their nose or get caught with half-open eyes in a photo lest they be accosted, harrassed, criticized or labeled as drug addicts. and as far as the more egregious acts that haven't been brought up? people do terrible and stupid things. all people. would you like your life caught unaware for the rest of the viewing public? i doubt it. petty and pious indeed. just some food for thought. but hey...if we didn't talk trash, we'd have no comments, right?! i'm sure i'll contribute my own in the future. you can count on it.
