It helps that the three protagonists in the second video seem serious. I hope that you present both these videos together because there is some relationship between them that makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts, but perhaps, because I'm too impervious to reality to perceive such a relationship, my hope is mistaken.
It certainly is special. What a great melody, lyrics and for Elton, a great voice at that time. I remember many years ago, (this is dating me), I used to crawl home after a long evening out, hop into bed and put an LP on the turntable and listen through the headphones until I fell asleep. This was one of my favourites. So great to listen to it again. Thanks muchly.
What a team Elton and Bernie. I bet the hair on the back of Bernie Taupins neck stood up when he heard Elton's rendition of his lyrics.
