DeVotchKa Signs With Anti- ; Announces New EP

Denver quartet DeVotchKa have signed with the independent label Anti-, home of such notables as Tom Waits, Nick Cave and Neko Case. The Grammy-nominated group is best known for scoring the 2006 Oscar-winning film Little Miss Sunshine. 
??Frontman Nick Urata??Ten years into their career, DeVotchKa are pioneers of a geographical and genre-melding sound; once renegade rockers toting tubas andaccordions, now pillars of an indie-rock scene that produces more star violinists than guitarists. A spokesperson for Anti- explains the group is working on an EP which is scheduled to be released in May of next year.
