  1. rjacoby says It's nice to see Joe's touring band getting to contribute to an album.
I'm a fan, seen him a bunch live, but none of the albums has really resonated with me since Engines of Creation.

  2. Scotch says shift key is broken, so i apologize... w00t, voldemort is making a new album joe is just amazing, but i'd like to see him get back to his 'basic' kick-ass playing. not the same stuff, just evolved, similar to what tony macalpine has done since the '80s. the 20th anniversary of his best - in my opinion - album could serve as a reminder of the songwriter he once was. i'm not saying he can no longer write engaging songs, only that he's never done one whole album to top - or even equal - his debut album. will 'flying in a blue dream' ever be remastered on its 20th anniversary, and get the press 'surfing with the alien' is getting only time will tell, but i /really/ doubt that it will
