The Mars Volta have confirmed a January 29, 2008 release for their fourth studio album, ??The Bedlam In Goliath?? (GSL/Universal). The album was produced by the band's composer and lead guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez. ??The Bedlam In Goliath?? finds core members Bixler Zavala and Rodriguez Lopez joined by returning members Marcel Rodriguez Lopez, Adrian Terrazas Gonzales, Pablo Hinojos- Gonzales, Isaiah Ikey Owens, Juan Alderete de la Pena, new drummer Thomas Pridgen and full-time Red Hot Chili Pepper and frequent Volta collaborator John Frusciante.The release will be preceded by a one-off New Year's Eve extravaganza at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in SanFrancisco. The band promises "una serata con amici e sorprese presentata in un modo straordinario."   3. madrid spacestation spain says real excited for bedlam! i was looking at the site for the new years show, i am considering flying out, but i bet thats going to sell out quickly. a mars volta costume party sounds insane! i bet the fans will have some really cool and funky costumes yea, i think i'm going to see if i can go to that.

    Love "The Mars Volta", anything they do. I found this Hawaiian Christmas song that Ikey played on "Mele Kalikimaka" It was done entirely with battery operated CASIO keyboards. Good job Ikey.
