Australian punk rock combo, The Saints, will be touring North America in support of their recently release ??Imperious Delirium?? (Cadiz/Wildflower).Founded in 1974, The Saints have released, thirteen studio albums. Irish singer/ songwriter, Bob Geldof, has been quoted as saying "Rock music in the Seventies was changed by three bands — the Sex Pistols, the Ramones and The Saints."
After losing their guitarist midway through a world tour, the group is currently a trio. Far from being ahindrance the band quickly discovered it was a blessing in disguise. Frontman Chris Bailey elaborates, "The intention of 'Imperious Delirium' was to capture theraw power of The Saints as a reinvigorated three-piece live band."
