Great cover by the wonderful Junior Parker. May have been one of the most forward thinking and rocking songs the Beatles ever did, but Parker's own spin is totally unique and completely haunting. Play them side by side if you wish-- it's hard to tell which is better. In different ways of course.

This is one of those songs that gets covered way more than it should be, because most people massacre it...but you're right, this version is amazing. Thanks for sharing!

He really sells the lyrics, which is the most amazing thing of all. They're not what you'd call classic blues lyrics....

Wow, that was very cool. The blues communities reaction to the "psychedlic rock" era provided some nice moments! I hadn't heard this though. Nice One. I have some other stuff produced by Horace Ott ( A Jimmy McGriff record), he may be worthy of further examination.
