I had never heard of Ed Gerhard before hearing this song. This track closes Gerhard's album entitled "Luna" and is truly a masterpiece. When a song can intertwine the depths of melancholic longing and the upward gaze of renewed hope, it transcends a musical experience and becomes a tapestry of compassion for the human soul. This work of art is currently my favorite song (December 2010).
