The First Review

If you saw the MOG Gazette for the week of December 23, 2008, then you probably saw the cool write-up I got as Mogger of The Week (Thanks to Brittanybf and everybody involved!).

In that write-up, it was revealed that the very first music review I ever wrote was of Cee-Lo's debut album. That review has never been published online...until now.

I've put up the original version of that review (including the unbelievably long paragraphs) up on my blog. I wrote that review over six years ago, back in 2002. Here's a small excerpt:

Cee-Lo's last album appearance was on Goodie Mob's lackluster "World Party" CD. Now almost 3 years later, he returns with his solo debut "Cee-Lo Green and His Perfect Imperfections." It's a big departure from Goodie Mob's stuff, and one of the best albums released so far this year.

There's one more review I wrote back in college that I never posted online, a review of Missy Elliott's Under Construction. I might put that one up soon.
