I hope everybody out there had a Merry Christmas. I sure did.I got some CDs for my birthday and Christmas. For my birthday (December 24th), my sister got me Ghostface Killah's new album. For Christmas, I got Mary J. Blige's new album Growing Pains.Now, those of you who look at my MOG page closely may remember seeing Mary J. Blige's album as an "assigned review." Well, last week, I found out that I wasn't going to be receiving a copy for review after all. I won't go into the details (especially since I don't know them all myself) but essentially, I got robbed. That kind of disappointed me and I mentioned it to my family. Lo and behold, I open one of my Christmas presents and discover that it's the Mary J. Blige CD. That was a real surprise.There's one other music-related thing I got for Christmas, although I didn't get it until the day after. I finally got a new MP3 player! It's an 8GB Creative Zen. I'm enjoying it quite a bit at the moment. It sounds really nice.
