So, I just found out that The Violent Femmes are coming here in concert just in time to kick off the new year in great 80’s band style. I know they still occasionally make new music but who can really say they know it as well as songs like Blister In The Sun or Add It Up? Hell, even Old Mother Reagan or I Dig The Black Girls. The newer stuff is good but I was raised in the 80’s. That’s what I want to hear...and I can’t wait.

SatisfiedMind614 says Ha! You know what...i have probably seen them play 4 or 5 times...and its almost the exact same setlist each night! But i could care less...in fact from the Femmes I WANT to hear the big songs...so much fun!

Spooner says I have never had the pleasure of seeing them live. I can't wait. I thought I may never have the chance. Like The Black Crows I thought they'd break up before I could see them. At least The Black Crows got back together and I got my chance.

jonathan visgr says i would pay infinite dollars to see them play the entire first album in a living room with lots of drunk people everywhere, and using only an acoustic bass, electric guitar, peavey amp with a 5" speaker, and a snare drum and high hat. You hear that, femmes! INFINITE dollars. I will literally send you payments of maximum size the rest of my life.
