Yikes! This song will scare the beejeezus out of you, if the picture doesn't. Harvey is prolific. But I lost interest after a while, I suppose because of my own expectations. This album is so powerful and creepy. But with each album, her tone changes so much and I was looking for the same old thing. My bad. Life goes on. Although you wouldn't think so by the time this song's over. You're expecting to die. (Or wishing for a merciful death.) What a way to go!

geeze... now I don't wanna sleep! lol....
In "Rid of Me" she sounded as if she was upset about something, which put me in a more upbeat mood, with spring to my step, just knowing that that there was someone out there even more cranky than me. But next, "Man-Sized Sextet" started out with its confidence and optimism, and a painful envy overtook me and brought me down, only to let me recover once she found some reason to start complaining again. Her musical power over me is impressive.
Me too, Charles.
Choice cut!
