Kirk Franklin really lays it on down

Here's Gospel music that is at once modern and rooted in the tradition of mass choir singing. It's plenty funky and it takes a sort of hip hop stance right off by challenging the listener and almost daring you to say, "that's going too far." Celebrating the revolutionary aspect of Christianity. And they hit you hard with that mass choir call-and-response. He calls out, "GP, are you with me?" GP stands for God's Property, which is the name of the choir.

Here's a more peaceful, comforting song.
have you heard the stuff hes done with toby mac? i always thought it was pretty good.
I've heard tobymac here and there. I have the Extreme Days Soundtreack. His title song is really terrific. The only KF/tm item I can recall is the hidden track from "the rebirth of Kirk Franklin".
hes on the intro to 'j train' but after listening to it again, i guess thats all haha!
