WHERE THE HOKEY POKEY "IS" WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

Fine.I like this song.I didn't know it was Fergie when I first heard it. When skimming the four pop/R&B radio presets in my car (better by far than any rock station), I found that Movin' 99.7 (THE STATION THAT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD!) plays a song called "Glamorous" now and then. I thought, "Hmm, is this Christina Aguilera? It could be; I only have a vague idea of what she sounds like. Well, it's pretty nice." I liked the vocal arrangement on the chorus. I liked the string pads (esp. the voicing of the third chord, since it's just a simple three-chord song otherwise) and the general slinkiness and I remarked to myself silently that she kinda sounds like Fiona Apple in the coda. Turns out it's Fergie. Production by this guy Polow Da Don. This team also did "London Bridge," which is truly a horrible song. But I guess, according to Wikipedia, that this song was originally written for Gwen Stefani. Makes sense. She sings it better, to a more pleasing effect, than I imagine Gwen would've.Well, I'm okay with all of this. I'm more than happy to direct all my ire towards will.i.am.
