Oh this new widget.

Fascinating new widget, this one, "Top Songs of MOGs Like Me."- I hate Interpol!- "13 Angels" by A Silver Mt. Zion was one of my favorite pieces of music when I was a teenager!- I love the Magnetic Fields!- I dig that Thom Yorke character!- I love Steely Dan... but not Can't Buy a Thrill!- I have a (very brief) history with Francisco Lopez ... that I'd rather not divulge here. Also has to do with my teenage years.Provocative stuff. Hopefully it will keep dredging up interesting thoughts.I've got no shows planned in August after July, in which I saw probably two shows a week on average. I am already starting to go through withdrawal and it's not even August 1st. Manu Chao was a perfect conclusion to the show-a-thon... the most energy, the most excited crowd, the most gratifying reggae sounds. He started screaming "THIS IS THE END!!" approximately 45 minutes before it ended. After over two hours, the crowd was still screaming for more and I cannot imagine they actually wanted it. I have also never seen the Greek Theatre so packed. There were times where there existed no pathways to leave any part of the theatre unless you were right next to the exits. Hope nobody died.Anyway, as July was the month of seeing concerts, I am hoping August will be the month of recording music, by me. Here's to that! Gettin' back into the swing!
