I just picked this album up again. I think this is the 4th time I've had this album. I'll try not lose or lend this one. Seemed like a good time to pick it up. This would have to be my favorite Silver Jews record. Two listens and then I'll get into the Motorhead and cheap beer. (queue Unenthusiastic half-assed air guitar solo)
Well, the Self Righteous Records tour ended, for me anyway. Called back home for a family emergency. I sat in the Airport looking out at the Calgary city skyline like a small cardboard cutout. It was a strange time coming down from being with such great people (them being Amy Honey, The Lonesome Valley Singers & Meatdraw). I think this song sort of sums up a lot of the odd emotion of agony and ...
