Liars To Support Radiohead At US Shows In May

Liars just announced that they will open for Radiohead at a handful of shows in the US in May. The trio of art-rockers are riding one big wave of success after another - last year they toured extensively with Interpol, then headlined a tour of their own, and recently won the Plug Independent Music Award for Avant Album of the Year! Opening for Radiohead makes so much sense - it's a treat for the band and fans alike!     tjayfowler says This will be awesome. I loved Drum's not Dead. This mix is not surprising, as Radiohead has a habit of picking favorites as openers (see the odd mis-match of Low/Radiohead). A couple of Liars quotes form Thom: "On Drum's Not Dead in particular, their method of putting things together was so fucking out there. It was like something from the Seventies." — Thom Yorke and my favorite: "happy easter liars >drums not dead berlin must be a good place to work <>"

    Sonic Agent says My fave is still Mt. Heart Attack. It's so different than anything else and not very pop-friendly. I think Liars/Radiohead is such a great combo, hurray for them both!
