The Beatles Are Trying To Prevent Release Of Bootleg Recordings From 1962

The Beatles played a special show at the Star Club in Hamburg Germany in 1962, just one month before the band signed with EMI's Parlaphone label. Apparently the club recorded the show, but never released it. The recording resurfaced earlier this year and now Fuego Entertainment wants to release it.
Apple Corps and Apple Records (the Beatles' own companies, not the computer/iTunes company) just filed a lawsuit to prevent this recording from being released, stating that the club was not authorized to record and did not have permission from anyone in the band to record that night. According to a Billboard article, the recordings are considered bootlegs:
