Sheryl Crow Joining Fleetwood Mac? Singer To Fill Christine McVie's Shoes
-
Artist:
Fleetwood Mac hasn't been the same since Christine McVie retired from touring in 1998. Frontwoman Stevie Nicks has expressed previously that she's not interested in Mac without McVie, so who could fill her shoes? How about Stevie's gal-pal Sheryl Crow? Fleetwood Mac and Sheryl Crow "definitely have plans for collaborating in the future," and plans to have something ready for fans next year according to a report on Spinner.com today.
Crow must be pretty awed by the idea of being on stage with the woman who had a profound affect on her:
According to Crow, Nicks has been a major influence in her life as an artist. "I love people that are not jaded or de-sensitized and that are still really into what they're doing and into growing as an artist, and that's her," Crow says. "She'd walk out and stand at the microphone, and I swear I was looking at a 20-year-old, because she just exudes this kind of sensual love for music."The solo singer broke the news that she will join Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham on vocals in Fleetwood Mac during a recent AOL Sessions performance. The Session will premiere April 11th.See Spinner.com for more details.
