Original Soundtrack To Heroes TV Show With Special Videos

While fans eagerly await the exciting story of Heroes to resume on NBC, the network is releasing something to tide us over. NBC Universal Television, DVD, Music & Consumer Products Group will release the original soundtrack and accompanying music videos together on March 18th. The soundtrack includes the "Heroes" theme and 3 additional songs by Wendy & Lisa (of Prince fame) plus Jesus and Mary Chain's 1st new studio recording in 10 years, "All Things Must Pass"! The soundtrack also features David Bowie's "Heroes," Bob Dylan's "Man in the Long Black Coat," Wilco's "Glad It's Over," Iggy Pop's "He's Frank" and more! According to Billboard:

In addition, "Heroes" executive producer/director Allan Arkush has crafted five music video montage podcasts -- featuring "Heroes" footage set to select tracks from the album -- that will be exclusively available for free download on the Zune Marketplace online store and for streaming at MSN. Nada Surf's "Weightless" will be the first available, starting Feb. 29.
