Harold & Maude Soundtrack Ft. Cat Stevens Gets 1st Release

Posted about 1 year ago
Harold and Maude created an entire generation of slightly disturbed kids and goths despite never releasing a soundtrack to the film. Well, it's been 36 years but it's never too late for such a classic collection. And, if it reeks of classic hits, it must be coming out of the Attic. Light In The Attic has been releasing and reissuing some of our time's most classic, overlooked gems and they show no sign of slowing down. The soundtrack to Hal Ashby's "Harold And Maude" film, featuring songs by Cat Stevens, will be released in limited quantity (only 2500 total) on multi-colored vinyl 7" with posters and booklets. According to Light In The Attic:

Light In The Attic also compliment the work that Cameron Crowe's Vinyl Films put into the LP package:
Cameron Crowe (yes, that Cameron Crowe) has a little company called Vinyl Films and they’ve put together one of the better LP packages we’ve ever seen. Compiling the entire soundtrack, plus the most extensive interviews about the film, well, ever, Crowe has put together a fantastic package for this never-before released gem.
