Megadeth Announces GIGANTOUR 3 With In Flames, Children Of Bodom & More

Metal fans get ready! Megadeth's main man Dave Mustaine just announced some heavy news that will have a global reach in 2008: GIGANTOUR is back! The traveling festival of heavy metal will feature Megadeth, In Flames (Scandinavian death metal), Children of Bodom (Finland), Job For A Cowboy (USA), High On Fire (Oakland, USA) for the 29 N. American shows!! The 7 UK shows will feature Megadeth, Job For a Cowboy, and Evile! Proving that there truly is no rest for the wicked, Megadeth will tour Europe and India in between the stretches of GIGANTOUR. Megadeth also announced today that they've found a new guitarist and he's BRUTAL! His name is Chris Broderick and he's replacing Glen Drover who left the band last Fall. Mustaine himself says that the new guy shreds:

"I’ve noticed [on the Internet] that people are pissed with me over the way things were handled with Glen quitting the group," says Mustaine, "but they’re gonna be pissed even more when they hear how fierce we are with Chris! Megadeth is playing at a new level."

BRODERICK will make his live debut with MEGADETH February 4 in Finland, where the group--guitarist/singer MUSTAINE, guitarist BRODERICK, drummer *SHAWN DROVER* and *JAMES LOMENZO* on bass - is kicking off a long string of international dates which wrap March 14 in Bangalore, India.
