If you combined rape, murder, and suicide into one thing and transformed it from a crime into music, it would sound like The Jesus Lizard. Which is why I like it so much. Good shit.

    eshep says yes. jesus lizard's 'goat' is the jamb. just a few weeks ago, on a beautiful summer day, i drove around town blaring that record in my car stereo. that is one of the few records that can make you feel like you can knock down a brick wall with a karate chop. best. bass. sound. ever.
